Kennington Coffee and Chat - Third Monday in the month! 

 

Our next meeting is on Monday 18th August from 10.30 – 12.30 at the Spearpoint Pavilion, The Ridge, Kennington. 

 

Everyone is welcome! 

 

Kennington Coffee and Chat will meet for another chance to catch up with what’s happening in our community. A chance to meet new faces or to bring a friend, colleague or relative for a cuppa and a catch-up. 

There are toys for the children and dog biscuits for our four-legged friends too! 

 

We meet the third Monday of the month and you can stay for all, or just pop in from 10.30. 

 

This month we will be joined by the Green Doctors, who for 15 years have been helping residents stay well and warm at home, and save money on their household bills. 

 

These are some of the ways they can support you: 

• Advising on suppliers or tariffs including explaining statements, energy caps, standing charges and unit rates 

• Advice on reducing energy use at home 

• Supporting with accessing the Warm Homes Discount or Priority Services Register 

• Support with applications for energy or water debt relief 

• Referring you for the installation of larger measures if needed 

• Referring you to other support organisations within your community if needed 

• Delivering small efficiency measures, such as LED lightbulbs
