Another successful morning cleaning up Kennington. The team of more than a dozen started from the Spearpoint Playing Fields Pavilion, collecting litter from across the park and into the surrounding roads. This was the last of our weekly programme through the summer before we go onto a monthly autumn rota. Please see our next post for dates and locations.
There was a nice mix of local residents and our friends from the Holiday Inn again. Aman, who has been with us every Wednesday, brought along his family to help this week. Daisy, another who had been part of the team every week, gave us the good news that she has secured a new job, a just reward for her contribution to the community!
