Litter Busting - Into the autumn - new dates!!
After the great response we had all summer for our weekly litter picks, we are pleased to announce the programme for the autumn. We are going onto a largely monthly frequency and visiting some new sites as well as going back to a couple of places covered in the summer.
The half-term dates of 22nd and 29th October will include a more general clean-up of Bockhanger Square. We hope to try and the weeds in the cracks and re-paint the concrete balls. Make a date to join us and help improve your local environment.

9.45 am to 11.00 am Tile Kiln Road Shops (TN24 9NT)
Meeting at the Tile Kiln parade of shops and covering surrounding roads
Wednesday 22nd October 2025 (Half Term Special)
9.45 am to 11.00 am Bockhanger Shops (TN24 9JJ)
Meeting outside the front of Bockhanger Shops,
covering Bockhanger shops, grass and leading to Rylands Road play area.
We are hoping to include painting of the concrete balls
and weeding of the area in front of the parade of shops – more details to follow.

9.45 am to 11.00 am Spearpoint, The Ridge Play Park (TN24 9ET)
Meeting by the pavilion, covering The Ridge and Play Park.
Litter Pickers, gloves, bin bags and hi-vis vests are provided.
