Sewage Works Update from Meeting held on 27.02.26

We had received many concerns from local residents about ongoing issues at Southern Water’s Ashford Wastewater Treatment Works. 💧 

 

For the past few years, since these issues first began, we’ve been working to raise them directly with Southern Water and alongside our local MP’s office to make sure residents’ voices are heard loud and clear. 📣 

 

Today, residents had the opportunity to hear directly about the works taking place at the treatment plant and to ask important questions about what action is being taken and how improvements will be delivered. 

 

At the meeting, Southern Water advised that if you need to report odour issues, they have set up a reference number to use. You can contact their call centre on 📞 0330 303 0368 and quote reference: WCS5284074.
