It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our dear friend and community councillor for Grosvenor Hall, Shafi Khan.
Originally from Uganda, Shafi was a proud Ashford resident for over four decades. A passionate advocate for our community, he served as a trustee for numerous charities and organisations and was a valued member of the Independent Police Advisory Group and served as a community councillor for Grosvenor Hall on Kennington Community Council.
Our Chairman of the Council, Matthew Bridger, has spoken with Shafi’s son to convey our heartfelt condolences on behalf of the whole council and we ask that you keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
