Kennington War Memorial - Restoration now complete

Restoration of Kennington's War Memorial was formally completed on 15th October, with a final inspection by Roger Joyce Associates who supervised the contract and Calibre Conservation Ltd who undertook the conservation survey and the restoration work. 

 

Work has included cleaning the render and filling hairline cracks, repairing the steps at the base of the monument, and cleaning the bronze plaque. 

 

The project has been funded by Kennington Community Council with support from War Memorials Trust.
