The Kennington Parochial Charity - Nominative Trustee Vacancy

The Kennington Parochial Charity was formed in 1982 to bring together a number of existing charities in the area. The Charity’s current focus is the provision of almshouses for the needy.

There is a vacancy for one Trustee to be appointed by the Community Council, and the Council therefore invites applications from people who live or work in Kennington, or who have special knowledge of the area, and who can bring insight and support to the work of the charity.

The trustees usually meet up to four times each year. This is a voluntary, unpaid role. Applicants should be aged 18 or over. The appointment terminates in May 2027. The charity is registered under no. 213549. Full details of the charity can be found at https://register-of-charities.charitycommission.gov.uk/charity-search/-/charity-details/213549

If you are interested in being considered for this appointment, please contact the Clerk to the Council clerk@kenningtoncc.gov.uk for further details. Letters of application will be considered at the Council meeting on Wednesday 10 January 2024.
